In a large pot cook the potatoes with just enough water to cover. While that is cooking, pan fry the bacon with the onion. When the potatoes are finished cooking, add the bacon & onion mix, mushrooms, can of mushroom soup, halibut, butter, and salt & pepper. Thoroughly stir all ingredients to blend and then add the cheese. Serve with a nice green salad and crisp bread. This is really rich so plan accordingly.... This will serve a small army. |
